There is no better place to start the Christmas season than at The Greenbrier. The colorful lobbies sparkle with holiday magic from endless poinsettias and decorated trees to crackling fireplaces. With the joyous sounds of carolers singing your favorite holiday songs, it truly is the most wonderful time of the year.
It will then be time to start preparing for a wonderful
dining experience. Please note dress code for dinner. Jacket and tie for men and dresses or evening suits for women. Alert: All guests will need to bring their “guest card” (received at arrival) to present to their waiter at dinner this evening. Allow 1½ - 2 hours for dinner.
Dinner at 7:00 PM in the elegant Main Dining Room is the essence of The Greenbrier dining experience. Certified Master Chef preserves The Greenbrier’s culinary reputation with its classically inspired menu. The dinner menu features a variety of classic American delights, including vegetarian options. Live piano and violin music accompany the meal. Guests can order off the menu including an appetizer, salad, main entrée and dessert.
The rest of the evening is yours to enjoy…..walk the grounds, enjoy the shops, watch a first run movie (complimentary) in the theater or visit the new casino located down the stairs of the lobby level.
The Tavern Casino is now open and ready for your enjoyment. This intimate, guests-only venue offers table games, including Blackjack and Roulette, in addition to 44 slots. The Casino is open from 11:00 AM to 3:00 AM. Jackets are required after 7:00 PM for men. The Casino Club is also home to the newest tradition at The Greenbrier: a nightly champagne toast featuring a signature dance choreographed to The Greenbrier Waltz.
