A VOLUNTEER ACTIVITY
Cea-retired members are needed at Northland High School for college bound Freshmen and Sophomores.
The hour would be from 8:30 to 9:30 or 10 to 11 on Tuesday or Thursday. You would be working with the students to help them reason and questioning the answers. This sounds like an ideal way to spend an hour or 2 a week. The students sound like the type of students we all would have liked to teach. For more information and to volunteer, contact J Sanchez at email@example.com

Summer/Fall Message from President, Judy Valentine
I realize that it is difficult to think about fall and winter activities when we are right in the middle of summer. However, it is important to make reservations for special trips especially the one to the Biltmore.
At the CEA Retirement Banquet we gave two $500 scholarships to Zachary and Tyler Zwahlen. These brothers are attending Ohio University. (Look for their prompt thank you notes in the “Thank You” section of the brochure). The Executive Board met in May and voted to
increase the CEA-R scholarships from $500 to $1000 each beginning in 2014.
